About Hedgewitch Pipes

In creating this company, I had to ask myself what I felt was a reason for learning a new art form to boost my creativity horizon. I have been an artist all my life, with a wide range of mediums, such as, pencil and ink, oils, clay, computer graphics, water colors, braiding, feathers, leather, candles, stone, silk screen, air brush, acrylic. My creativity comes from being raised by a mother who could give even Martha Stewart a run for her money. At an early age, I was made aware that I was gifted with dyslexia, and trained to harness the imagination of my mind to produce artistic wonders. I made it a point to live my life focused on a quote by one of my idols, Albert Einstein, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." In doing this, I found that I could visualize what I was going to create in my mind long before I ever laid it out on paper. This helped me build the skills that has brought me to where I am today.

In the last few years, my creativity has grown in leaps and bounds, with the finding of my soul mate and muse, Thekitschwitch, who is also a craft master. I have learned that there is no limit to what I can create by combining my imagination, nature, and love of making something unique and beautiful. Her belief in me has given me the freedom to pursue my dreams and drive to bring to the world, works of art that once were impossible. She is my greatest critic and inspiration. Together we have built a union of spirituality, art, and love. This has made it easier for me to understand myself, given me a direction in which to focus the gifts that have been given to me and produce some of the most incredible pipes available on the market. With her support and love, I have been able to become one of the newest pipe artisans to come around in years

My prices are not cheap, but one must understand what goes into creating each pipe. It takes many hours to unleash what lays within each piece of wood. When I start a pipe, I first must find out what form the wood wishes to show to me. By examining the colors, grains, and density of each individual piece, I am able to release the spirit of the wood to glorify the tree from which it came. In doing this, the spirit of the wood itself uses me to release itself and to spread its blessing upon those who purchase them. I have been blessed with the ability to bring these pipes to the world and feel it is my calling to provide my clients with the best pipes available anywhere.

In the future, I plan on expanding my craft into creating premium hybrid pipes, using clays, metal, and other materials. Doing so will open up the variety of styles, shapes, colors and flavors which will enhance the quality of flavors in the smoking experience.
